Refund and Returns Policy
Terms and Conditions
At Tiffin Treats, we are committed to providing a smooth, transparent, and customer-friendly experience. The following policies ensure fairness while maintaining operational efficiency.
Subscription & Cancellation
Subscription Termination
- If a client decides to terminate their subscription before its completion, meal adjustments can be considered only with prior notice.
- Unnotified terminations will not be eligible for refunds or meal adjustments.
- Meal prices are fixed and non-negotiable, with no custom pricing based on meal preferences.
Advance Notice for Unsubscription
- A minimum 7-day notice is required to unsubscribe and adjust remaining meals.
- If a client requests termination with less than 7 days’ notice, only 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.
- Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI, and clients must provide the necessary details.
- The processing time for refunds is approximately10-15 business days after approval.
Emergency Adjustments
- Genuine emergencies (such as medical conditions or relocation to an inaccessible area) may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to management approval.
Meal Pause & Adjustments
- Clients can pause their meal plan for up to 10 days per month.
- Pause requests must be informed at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for adjustment.
Cut-Off Timing for Cancellations
- Breakfast: Cancellations must be requested by 9 PM the day prior.
- Lunch: Cancellations must be requested by 10 AM on the same day.
- Dinner: Cancellations must be requested by 5 PM the same day.
- No refunds, replacements, or meal credits will be provided for last-minute cancellations.
Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are applicable only in case of medical emergencies or relocation to non-serviceable areas.
- A minimum of 7 days’ notice must be given to request a refund.
- If the request is made with less than 7 days’ notice, only 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.
- No refunds will be issued for missed deliveries due to client unavailability, last-minute cancellations, or non-preferred meal items.
Deduction Charges on Subscription Termination
If a client chooses to terminate their plan early, the following deductions will apply:
- ₹170 per meal already consumed.
- ₹1,000 for custom diet preparation charges (inclusive of taxes).
- ₹500 for processing and administrative charges.
Processing Time
- Refunds will be processed in approximately 10-15 business days after verification.
- The amount will be credited via bank transfer to the registered account.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Individual meal orders are strictly non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued if operations are affected due to:
- Strikes, natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or any force majeure event.
- Tiffin security deposits are non-refundable, but meal adjustments are permitted within the valid subscription period.
Meal Adjustments & Extensions
Trial Plan
- No pause, refund, or extension is allowed on trial plans.
Regular Subscriptions
- Subscription plans allow for meal extensions up to 10 days per month, subject to prior notice and availability.
Delivery Timing & Responsibility
- All meals are delivered within 3 slots of delivery for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner as committed to the client before subscription. Any changes in the delivery timing or location must be informed 24 hoursbefore the delivery.
- Deliveries are scheduled in batches. Clients must be available to receive their meals.
- If a client is unavailable, the rider will wait for a maximum of 10-15 minutes before leaving and will inform the client before leaving.
- Missed deliveries due to unavailability will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Once a meal leaves our kitchen, it is considered delivered.
Cut-Off & Change Policy
Deadline for Address or Meal Changes
- All meal or address change requests must be made before 6 PM a day prior.
- Requests beyond this time cannot be guaranteed and may not be accommodated.
No Compensation for Last-Minute Requests
- No compensation will be provided for late meal change requests.
- Meals will be delivered to the last confirmed address, and no alternate delivery requests will be entertained after dispatch.
Guidelines for Delays & Contingencies
Tiffin Treats strives for timely deliveries, but certain circumstances may cause unavoidable delays, including:
- Heavy rainfall, strikes, roadblocks, or government restrictions.
- Unexpected delays due to third-party delivery partners.
- Kitchen breakdowns or technical issues beyond our control.
In such cases, we request patience and cooperation, as we always prioritise customer satisfaction.
Medical & Dietary Disclaimer
Meal Suitability & Responsibility
- Meals are designed by certified nutrition experts, but Tiffin Treats is not responsible for any medical conditions resulting from meal consumption.
- Clients must consult their doctor before subscribing, especially if they have medical conditions such as diabetes, PCOS, or allergies.
Allergy Disclosure
- Clients must disclose all known allergies before subscribing.
- Tiffin Treats is not liable for health concerns arising from undisclosed allergies unless they are due to proven negligence.
Nutritional Variability
- While we maintain strict ingredient control, minor variations in meal macros may occur due to natural ingredient fluctuations.
Code of Conduct & Service Termination
Respectful Communication
- Clients are expected to communicate respectfully with the team, including customer support, delivery riders, and kitchen staff.
- Any abusive, rude, or inappropriate behavior may lead to immediate subscription termination.
Right to Deny Service
- Tiffin Treats reserves the right to deny service to individuals who fail to adhere to these terms.
- In such cases, refunds will be processed on a pro-rata basis, with deductions for administrative and service charges.
Legal & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
- All disputes related to Tiffin Treats’ policies will be governed by the laws of India.

Final Acknowledgement
By subscribing to Tiffin Treats, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
